Master Bob has been boxing since he could walk. Mr. Robert Schirmer Sr.Bobs dad  boxed in the United States Army winning the European Theater of Operations title and going rounds with World Champions Tony Zale and Billy Conn. Young Bob had a pair of boxing gloves from a very young age, and he would box in the backyard of a three-flat in the Wrigleyville neighborhood of Chicago. A group of his friends would put on the gloves, and a slugfest would begin. Boxing at Hamlin Park and Hawthorne playground his skill developed Robert sr. trained his hand-speed, head movement, and footwork.
